Over 80 percent of the stand is made from recycled materials.
PAL Technology, a subsidiary of the Royal Group and PAL Group, is currently exhibiting at Arabian Construction Week at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre on 28-30 March. PAL Technology’s stand is unique in its design as over 80 percent of it is comprised of recycled materials from existing stand architecture and components. This is aligned with PAL Technology’s dedication to creating sustainable solutions in the built environment.
Although the stand looks as if it has been purposely created for the show, it has in fact been designed from two previous concepts and the furniture and ancillary items are from a third. PAL Technology specifically chose the stand because embodies sustainable practices by reusing existing materials in a creative yet functional manner. Other components of the stand that are also sustainable include a newspaper and brochure, which has been printed on 100 percent recycled paper. The plants on the stand are potted and therefore, unlike cut flowers can be used many times again.
PAL Technology’s commitment to adopt green building practices to reduce waste, minimise our carbon footprint and maintain energy efficiency is an integral part of the Company’s strategy. Key drivers supporting this approach are Plan Abu Dhabi 2030, the Estidama Pearl Rating System and environmental, health & safety management systems.
